Donald Trump got something right when he claimed the election was rigged. We all thought he was setting up his excuse for when he lost. Towards the day of the election, he actually said the election would be rigged if he lost.
He was right. The election was rigged, despite his win. There is an article in the Washington Post that now sheds light on the Russian propaganda machine successfully spreading fake news stories to discredit the Clinton campaign. It appears they were successful.
Trump’s wild claims did more damage to the U.S., by giving Vladimir Putin – and all dictators – “evidence” that the U.S. system is a fraudulent as they claim.
We have entered into a new age of information where it is critical that we don’t allow ourselves to be spoonfed what we are to believe. If Americans don’t take it upon themselves to check the validity of EVERYTHING we read on the internet, and if we don’t take it upon ourselves to check out the claims we hear from the side we stand on, we will be duped, played, and led astray by malevolent forces intending to undermine America.
